Death Came to Arthur Arends at Kings Home Last Week

Death came to Arthur Arends at his home in Kings Tuesday morning, after a long period of failing health. He was born August 25, 1872 at Lindenwood, and spent the better part of his years farming and caring for horses. He moved to Kings about nine years ago. Surviving are some nephews and nieces.

Arthur Arends was a man of strict integrity. He believed in and practiced the Golden Rule. He was careful and conscientious and did his best at every thing he did. He was a good citizen and a credit to any community where he resided. Funeral services were held last Thursday from the Unger Funeral Home in charge of Rev. William A. Evans of Warren, an interment was made in Lindenwood cemetery.
