Death Takes Well Known Rochelle Man

Frank Cawley, 74, retired farmer, who lived in this vicinity most of his life, died at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at his home at 704 Eleventh Street after an illness of several weeks.
He was born on January 28, 1864 in Rochelle, the son of Micheal and Ellen Jackson Cawley. On February 12, 1890 he was married to Kathryn Morrisey, who survives. The couple observed their forty-ninth wedding anniversary this year. He has resided around here all but five years of his life.

Besides his widow, he leaves two daughters, Mr. Lillian C. Rossman, and Mrs. Grace C. Kirby, two grandsons, Francis and Donald Coleman, one sister Mrs. Mary Milan of Geneva and one brother, Will Cawley of Mason City. Funeral services were held at 9:30 Saturday from the St. Patrick Church with Rev. Father Thomas O'Brien officiating at the High Mass. Burial services were conducted in the Catholic Cemetery on the south side of town.
