JOSEPH P. JEROME

Oregon, Feb. 20, - Joseph P. Jerome, 75, passed away at 7:15 Monday morning at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Morris Wernick after several months of ill health. He was born in Massachusetts, June 14, 1869, and came to Illinois when a young man. His wife preceded him in death. Surviving are seven children: Mrs. Wernick of Oregon, Mrs. Marguerite Egland of Livingston, Mont.; Gerald of Des Moines, Iowa; Joseph L. of the Merchant Marine, Woodrow of Seattle, Wash.; Mrs. Arnold Canfield of Janesville, Wis., and Mrs. Thomas Dowd, Byron; three sisters, Mrs. Eva Bradley, Rockford; Mrs. John Riley, Byron and Mrs. Elsie Hicks of Idaho. Funeral arrangements are bing made at the Farrell Funeral Home.
