Hewitt Cemetery, Forreston Twp., Ogle County, IL Walked by Concetta Franco Hewitt Cemetery is located at First Street (Route 26) and Willow Street. Parking is slim - only on the cemetery side of Willow Street. The cemetery is enclosed by a wrought iron fence with a gate. There is no marker. There looks like there used to be a cement marker on the outside of the cemetery, but it is gone now. The cemetery is not well taken care of - the trees are uprooting the broken sidewalk. However, the grass is kept short by the neighbors so the stones are accessible and readable. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Title Surname First Middle Maiden Day MonthYear Day MonthYear Y M D Notes Stone ROW 1 Age ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1 Philo J Sgt.
