Mrs. Gussie Olive Stonebraker, Mt. Morris

Mt. Morris, Ill. April 9---Mrs. Gussie Olive Stonebraker, 86, widow of the late Charles Victor Stonebraker, passed away after a heart attack at 10 o’clock this morning. She had been confined to the family home on East Brayton Road with a heart affliction for several months. Mr. Stonebraker passed away January 30, 1928.

The deceased, a lifelong resident of the community was born November 18, 1853, in Mt. Morris the daughter of Elias and Mary E. Williams On Dec. 6, 1874 she was united in marriage to Charles Victor Stonebraker of Mt Morris.

Two sons, Roger, who passed away in 1889 (sic) and S Lee Stonebraker, of Mt. Morris were born to the union. The deceased is survived by her younger son, one granddaughter residing here and two nieces of Sunnyside Washington.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed.

MRS. STONEBRAKER, MT MORRIS

Mt. Morris, Ill, April 10—Funeral services for the late Mrs. Gussie Olive Stonebraker who passed away here Tuesday will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 from the Lee Stonebraker home on East Brayton Road, Rev. C. H. Hightower of Trinity Lutheran Church will officiate with burial in Oakwood Cemetery.
