BENJAMIN FRANKLIN KUNTZELMAN
Leaf River, Dec. 29, 1930 -- Frank Kuntzelman died at 4 a.m. Sunday at the residence three miles north of Leaf River. He had been suffering from a complication of diseases but his fatal illness was of only four days duration.
Born in Pennsylvania August 10, 1853, he came to Leaf River with his parents at the age of 14. His marriage to Mary Motter occurred October 23, 1879, at Forreston.
Seven children were born to them, four of whom preceded him in death.
Surviving are the widow, two sons, Bert of Leaf River township, and Alton of Oregon, and one daughter, Mrs. Daisy Herbig, Rockford. There are 12 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Joel and Richard Kuntzelman of Leaf River and Aaron of Egan are brothers. Mrs. Frances Motter of Myrtle, S.D., is a sister.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1 p.m. from the home and at 1:30 p.m. from the North Grove Evangelical church. The Rev. A.X. Harrison will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. (offered by Thelma Thomas Livingston/Carole Ann Heller)Submitted by Carole Ann Heller
