Bridget Naylor

Mrs. Bridget Naylor was born in Downing, Ireland, in 1804, she emigrated to Canada in 1833 and was married to Wm. Naylor, in Canada in 1834. They came to the United States, and settled in Marion Twp., Ill., near the mouth of the Stillman Creek, in 1859.
Her husband died at Marion Twp., Sept. 18, 1877. Their Family consisted of four children, two are dead and two remain to mourn their loss.
Mrs. Naylor was for many years a member of the M. E. Church, and died in the hope of eternal life through Jesus Christ.
The funeral services were held in the Stillman M. E. Church. Rev. Thomas preaching the funeral sermon. Her remains were interred in the Stillman Cemetery. JHT
