Obit for Conrad Reints, appeared in the April 13, 1939, edition of the Rochelle News:

"Conrad Reints, 79 died Sunday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Wm. Holtman. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Lindenwood Union Church, with burial being made in the Lindenwood Cemetery. Lindenwood I.I.O.F. lodge, of which Mr. Reints had been a member for 37 years, had charge of the services at the grave.

Mr. Reints was born in White Rock township, September 22, 1859, on July 26, 1882, he was married to Elizabeth Lambert, who preceded him in death 44 years ago.

Surviving are three daughters: Mrs. Mabel Strang, Mrs. Mary Gipson and Mrs. Lucinda Holtman; two sons: George and Ben; 23 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Two children died in infancy."
