David F. Garner Buried Here

David F. Garner, son of George and Mary Garner was born December 4, 1854, and departed this life June 11, 1930 at Kallaway, Minn., at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ona Myers, at the age of 75 years, 6 months, and 7 days. He was united in marriage to Kesiah Rhinehart, February 7, 1875. To this union nine children were born, seven of whom were present at the services, Artemus Garner, Mrs. Nannie Borchers, South Dakota; Mrs. Lola Piper, of Freeport; Mrs. Ona Myers, Kallaway, Minn.; Mrs. Nieloo, of Wagner, North Dakota; Mrs. Bliss Schreiber, Oregon; Harley D. Garner, Mrs. Azalia Patterson of Leaf River; and Harold Garner of Oregon. There are eighteen grandchildren, also five great grandchildren, who together with many other relatives and friends will ever cherish his memory. Services were held from his daughter's, Mrs. Patterson's home, Sunday afternoon, Rev. R. W. Pittman, assisted by Rev. C. O. Gerard conducting the service. Burial in the Lightsville Cemetery.
