ADELINE
Flavius Josephus Jacobs was born near Adeline, Ill., August 19, 1845 and passed away April 18, 1932 at the home of his sister, Mrs. Sarah Wagner at Faulkner, Iowa, aged 86 years, 8 months and 28 days. He was the son of Enos and Rachel Jacobs and grew to manhood in his childhood home. At the death of his father he went to live with his sister where he has made his home continuously with the exception of a few years, which were spent at the home of his sister, Mrs. Martha Dame. He is survived by his brother, F. Jacobs of Mount Morris. His sisters are Mrs. Sarah Wagner of Faulkner, Iowa, Mrs. Ann Geeting of Tyndall, So. Dak. and Mrs. Martha Dame of Avon, So. Dak., and Mrs. Ella Myers of Beaman, Iowa. He also survived by thirty-four nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the United Brethren Church in Adeline, the Rev. R. V. Strole officiating. Burial in the Adeline Cemetery.
