George Adam Kreitzburg, 115 Lincoln Park Blvd., widely known resident of Lincoln Park and janitor of the Lincoln Park School for six years, died Wednesday night at 11:45 o'clock at the age of 60 years.

Mr. Kreitzburg was born in Germany March 9, 1866, and came to America when a boy of 17. He had since lived in Illinois. He married Augusta Hass of Monroe Center, Ill., Feb. 16, 1898.

He engaged in farming until 1918, when he retired and moved to Rockford, taking the post of janitor at Lincoln Park School. About a year before his death, he became subject to a long weakening illness and later contracted pneumonia, which caused his death. He is greatly mourned by his relatives and a wide circle of friends by whom he was highly respected.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Augusta Kreitzburg, and two children, Lillian and Adolph, both of Lincoln Park; a sister, Mrs. Fred Wedig, of Davis Junction and three brothers, E. J. Kreitzburg, Philadelphia, Pa.; Ernest Kreitzburg, Davis Junction, and Charles Kreitzburg, Rockford.

The funeral will be held Sunday, Nov. 28, at 1 o'clock from the home and at 1:30 from St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church here. Burial will be in Big Mound Cemetery, Holcomb, Ill.
