Forreston Herald: February 2, 1901:

Henry H. Clevidence a prominent business man of Mt. Morris since the close of the Civil War in 1866, died at his home in Mt. Morris, last Saturday, Jan. 26th, after an illness of only three days, at the age of 65 years and 8 days. The funeral services were conducted by Eld. D. L. Miller of the Dunkard Church, and Mr. Clevidence was laid to rest in Oakwood Cemetery last Tuesday, January 29th.
