COMMENTS:
Jacob Palmer and brother John Beeler Palmer lived just a few farms apart from each other in Leaf River Twp. [see 1900 census] These two brothers married Smith sisters Harriet ['Hattie"] and Lydia Helen, daughters of John and Susan Myers Smith. Their aunt, Adeline Myers, and Uncle Joseph Kendel, lived between the two families. And next door to the Kendels was another Palmer sister, Nora Belle Palmer and husband Ernest PyperContributed by Carol Palmer Schmidt
