JAMES C. PORTS
Polo—James C. Ports died Saturday at 3:15 p. m. at the KSB Hospital. Dixon. after a short illness.
He was born near Milledgeville. Nov. 23. 1873. He was married Nov. 26, 1896 to Celesta Geary. She preceded him in death as did one daughter. Mrs. Pauline Garman. Survivors include two sons, Otho, Hazelhurst and Charles, Dixon; seven grandchildren: six great grandchildren and three brothers, Jesse, Emory and Frank all of Polo. The body was taken to the Melvin Funeral Home. Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock with Dr. K. B. Irvin of St. Mark's Lutheran Church officiating. Burial was in the Brick Church Cemetery, west of Polo.
