Mrs. Jennie Trueblood Answers Final Summons

Mrs. Jennie Trueblood died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Blanche Strong in Oregon Monday morning following a long period of illness, and during the past eleven years an invalid. Mrs. Trueblood was the daughter of Thomas J. and Margaret Fearer, pioneer residents of Pine Creek Township. She was born at the Fearer farm west of Oregon, January 8, 1864, and was united in marriage to Henry W. Trueblood, June 20, 1906, her husband having preceded her in death. Surviving are her sister, Mrs. Blanche Strong with whom she has made her home during her illness, and a brother, Attorney William P. Fearer, both of Oregon.

Funeral services were held Wednesday from the Strong home on North Fourth Street at two o’clock P.M. in charge of Rev. George B. Draper, pastor of the Oregon M.E. Church, and burial was made in Mount Zion Cemetery.
