JOHN H. STOUFFER OBITUARY: Independent Democrat, Ogle Co, IL Feb 24, 1892

John H. Stouffer, who resided near the Loughridge School House, died on Friday, Feb. 12th, 1892 of paralysis, aged 58 years, 9 months, and 5 days. Mr. Stauffer had been in poor health for more than a year. The funeral was held on Monday at the Dunkard Church, Pine Creek, Elder Edmund Forney conducting the services.
Mr. Stouffer was a native of Washington Co, Maryland. He removed to Ohio about twenty-five years ago. From there he removed to this county about ten or twelve years ago. He leaves a wife and nine children to mourn his loss.
