Obituary
Louisa Fess, the daughter of Henry and Eva Fess, was born in Forreston, Ill., December 5, 1859 and on the afternoon of June 6, 1939, she departed this life at the age of 79 years 6 months and 1 day.
Her father preceded her to that other land in 1911 and her mother in 1917. A sister passed away in 1875. The only near relative surviving is a brother, William H. Fess, of Mendota.
Miss Fess has lived her entire life in Forreston and has endeared herself to many. In the words of another we can say Her friends, they are many, her enemies-are there any? In early youth she became a part of the Evangelical church and through these many years has been a member of utmost loyalty. Her devoted service will be sadly missed.
