"Miss Louise Chaney. Heart trouble yesterday morning caused the death of Miss Louise Chaney, the end coming at the family home, 320 East Main Street. She was found dead in her bed by her sister at 8 o'clock. Louise A. Chaney was born in January, 1844, at White Rock, Ill. Later she resided at Rockford, leaving five years ago to come to Missoula to make her home. While here she has been a steadfast and devoted member and worker of the Immanuel Baptist Church and leaves many friends to sorrow at her death. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. E.K. Chandler, of Missoula and Mrs. J. S. Riggs of Denver, and four brothers, H. E. Chaney and E. O. Chaney of Missoula, N. J. Chaney of Vermillion, S.D., and George W. Chaney of Newell, Iowa. The body will be taken today to Newell, Iowa, where interment will take place."
