Dixon Telegraph 3-27-1889

Michael Strock an old and respected citizen of Polo, while crossing the Illinois Central track at that place on Friday last with a load of wood, met with sudden death. His horses became frightened, ran away and threw Mr. Strock off the load, breaking his neck.
