MICHAEL CRAMER ZELLER, son of Jonas and Elizabeth Zeller, was born in Washington Co., Md., in September, 1812, and died at his home in Mount Morris, Sunday Feb. 5, 1899, aged about 87 years. He was married to Mary Eve Firey, Oct. 03, 1833 and was the father of nine children, four sons, and five daughters, four of whom one son, Wilson Zellers, Chicago, and three daughters, Mrs. Andrew Long, Mrs. F.T. Binkley and Miss Louise Kate, of this place remain to mourn his demise. Mrs. Zellers died Sept., 4, 1889. Deceased moved with his family to Ogle County, locating near Polo, in 1869, where he followed the pursuit of farming, afterwards locating in Mt. Morris Township. About twelve years ago he moved from the farm and up until his death lived a retired life in this city. He had been a consistant member of the Brethren church for a number of years and the funeral services were held in the College chapel on Tuesday at 10 o'clock, conducted by Elder Amick, assisted by Elder Price and Yundt. Interment at Silver Creek.
