OBITUARY

Rosine Karoline Justine Wilhelmine Taedtman, nee Wessel, was born on the 22nd of May, 1857, and died on the 21st of December, 1929, attaining unto the age of 72 years and 7 months. She was baptized in infancy in the year 1857 by Rev. Kampmeier, and was confirmed by Rev. Biesemeier in the North Grove Evangelical Church. She was married to Mr. Fred Taedtman on the 5th of May, 1887. One son, Jesse, was born to this union, who died during the war, of influenza, at the age of 30 years. Her husband also preceded her in death about 4 years ago, as well as two brothers, Henry and Fred. She leaves to mourn her departure, one Sister, Mrs. Mary Runte who gave her loving care during the past 4 years of her life, when she was almost entirely helpless, being paralyzed.

The funeral was held on Tuesday, December 24, at one o'clock at the home of Mrs. Runte and then at the German Reformed Church after which interment was at White Oak Cemetery.
