Phineas B. Chaney, Jr., son of Phineas Chaney & Mary Jane (Berry) Chaney was b. 8 Jan 1854 in Ogle Co. and d. 9 Apr 1895 in Portland, Multnomah, OR. He married Josephine Welsh, place & date unk. There had been a previous Phineas Chaney, son of Phineas & Mary Jane Chaney, b. @ 16 Feb 1849 and d. @ 20 Feb 1849 in infancy, buried at the Chaney Cemetery.
