POLO (Special) - Samuel I. Garman, 89, a retired farmer, died at 10 a.m. today in his home, 411 W. Colden St., after a lingering illness. He was born Nov. 20, 1865.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Criss and Mrs. Letha Wilken, both of Forreston; five grandchildren; three great-grand-children; four brothers, Harry and Charles, both of Polo; John, Shannon, and Ed, Brookville, and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Tempel, Polo, and Mary Garman, Moline.
His wife, the former Minnie Rogers, died in 1941. Funeral arrangements were not completed today. Friends may call in Melvin Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today.Return to Ogle Co. Genealogy Site
