Oskaloosa Daily Herald (Oskaloosa, Iowa) 1 May 1925

Urilla Ann Potter, daughter of Michael and Catherine Stonebraker, was born January 2, 1854, in Mount Morris, Ogle County, Illinois and departed this life at her home, 524 North Fourth Street, April 27, 1925, at the age of 71 yeas, 3 months and 25 days. She grew to womanhood and obtained her education in the town of Mt. Morris, Illinois. She was united in marriage to Luther D. Potter, November 5, 1872. To this union seven children were born; Cloyd R. Potter and Effie P. Davis, of Nampa, Idaho; Winnie P. Wells, Los Angles; Lena P. Husson, Oskaloosa, Iowa; Meeda P. Hunt, Muskogee, Oklahoma; Jamie M. Potter who passed away at Billings, Montana, July 8, 1915 and Harlan L. Potter of Oskaloosa. Mrs. Potter leaves also five grandchildren, one great grandchild, four brothers, a sister and a half-brother. The deceased had lived in Oskaloosa since September 1890. Funeral services were held from the home, 524 North Fourth Street, Wednesday afternoon, April 29, in charge of Rev. C. G. Butler. Interment in Forest Cemetery.
