William and Susan (Gibbs) Myers with "some" of their children. I believe the photo with 3 boys (they actually had 5 sons) includes Clyde ( who was a constable in Oregon), Fred, and Edward. Edward had a farm in Grand Detour ... I haven't found any records of what Fred did. I believe this photo was taken in Oregon but it may be Mt. Morris. The photo with William H. Myers sitting was taken on the farm of Edward Myers in Grand Detour. William and Susan both traveled in wagons to Ogle county in the 1850's as children. He was the son of John and Jane Myers ... Susan was the daughter of William and Sarah Gibbs.
